Cantilever Gates

Cantilever gates require no running track which is often very beneficial when dealing with uneven or sloping driveways. They do require a sturdy foundation and additional run area to accommodate the counterweight needed to balance the gate.

Tracked Gates

These are the most common type of sliding gate found in residential installations. This type of gate will require a running track fixed to the ground on a suitable foundation. This will be a raised profile track to prevent any jamming caused through stones or debris with the gate then sitting on the track using ‘V’ roller wheels. The gate is supported by top rollers in it’s travel and is driven by motor connected to the gate via a rack and pinion system.
